COMMUNITY / RULES & PRIVACY
Share useful work.
Respect the people behind it.
What belongs here
- Preparedness planning, accessible kits, food storage questions, training resources and honestly described practice.
- Your own checklists and plain text records, or material you have explicit rights to distribute.
- Specific sources for factual claims. Clearly distinguish opinion, manufacturer claims and what you personally measured.
What we will not publish
- Copied books, paywalled articles, screenshots of copyrighted guides, unlicensed graphics or files you do not have permission to share.
- Threats, harassment, spam, undisclosed advertising or fabricated credentials, tests or results.
- Private names, addresses, phone numbers, medical records, passwords, recovery keys, or precise locations of stored supplies.
- Requests for urgent help, personal diagnosis or instructions that encourage dangerous experiments. Call 911 for an emergency.
All topics, replies and attachments enter a private moderation queue. Approval means the submission meets our posting rules; it does not establish technical accuracy or endorse a product. Moderators may reject or remove content.
Accounts and data
This first version uses a username and password, not Google sign-in. Your username becomes public with approved contributions. No email address, birth date, legal name or location is requested for membership. Passwords are stored as salted one-way derivations; raw passwords and recovery keys are not stored. Sessions use a secure browser cookie and expire after seven days.
Save your recovery key privately when you join. Recovery requires that key and replaces it with a new one. There is no email password-reset service. Do not reuse a password from another service.
We store account records, hashed session identifiers, submitted text and attached text files in Cloudflare D1 in the independent business account. Pending and rejected submissions are visible to their author and moderators; approved content is public. Cloudflare also processes network requests according to its own policies. Short-lived hashed network counters help limit abuse; the site has no advertising trackers or newsletter enrollment.
You can remove your submissions and account through the community page. Removing a discussion also removes its replies. Provider backups or already-downloaded public copies may retain prior content; deletion does not recall copies held by others.
For a copyright, privacy or account concern, contact [email protected]. Include the relevant discussion title or link without sending passwords, recovery keys or sensitive medical details.
